There are reports of dissent in a few towns in the Oromo district of Ethiopia daily after the death of famous vocalist Hachalu Hundessa. 

 

As per the BBC Amharic report on Tuesday, Adama, a city around 100 kilometers southeast of the capital Addis Ababa, was one of the urban areas where there was a dissent. The source refered to onlookers to report those administration structures in the city were assaulted. 

 

Dissenters who were walking to Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN), which is a legislature claimed supporter, in the town have conflicted with security powers. Anonymous observers said they saw one harmed individual, as revealed by BBC Amharic. Then again, medical clinic sources from the city said three individuals passed on of slug wounds. 

 

The Mayor's office was among the assaulted structures in the city. 

 

In Harar, in southeast Ethiopia, dissenters have obliterated a sculpture of Ras Mekonnen, father of Ethiopia's last Emperor Haileselassie I – as indicated by a report by Deutsche Welle Amharic assistance report on Tuesday. 

 

In Jimma, Southwest Ethiopia, protestors have apparently consumed vehicles, and inns are assaulted. DW Amharic assistance didn't state concerning which inns are assaulted.

Hachalu was noticeable for his melodies in Oromo language and his tunes activated millions for opposition during restraint under Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) commanded government which finished after Abiy Ahmed took over force in April 2018.
