In the course of my life, I have never heard an Ethiopian chief showing the young to place harmony above legislative issues, mankind above ethnicity, thoughtfulness above nationality, friendship over enmity and success above neediness.
The Ethiopian "pioneers" I know consistently discussed utilizing brutality to compel individuals to submit to their standard. The military communist Derg that took power in an overthrow in the mid-1970s slaughtered 60 high ranking representatives of the royal system and later pursued a battle of Red Terror for the sake of "class battle". Somewhere in the range of 500,000 individuals, a large portion of them youthful were slaughtered and many thousands more vanished.
The system of the Tigrean People's Liberation Front (TPLF) that supplanted the Derg also attempted its own battle of "ethnic battle" under the name "ethnic federalism" and slaughtered a huge number of youngsters carrying out monstrosities more awful than the white minority politically-sanctioned racial segregation system in South Africa, as I have recently recorded.
